Living in Edmonton, Alberta sucks. Nobody knows where it is, no one tours here, and there isn’t really anything to do other than going to crappy house parties.

One thing that I like about it though, is that the members of the Rural Alberta Advantage grew up in this province and named a song after our city. I liked them for song long, and I’m finally glad that they blew up out of nowhere into the music industry. And to be honest, I love all of their songs in their album Hometowns.

They just released the music video to “Drain The Blood”. I don’t really understand how it has to do with the song, but I like it. The band members are in a van spying a young couple’s home and the guy sees the van and him and his girlfriend start ripping everything in their house – including a sofa and a TV, causing a mess just to find a hidden microphone. I wish the story line was a bit longer so we could understand why they were spying on them.
