Goldfrapp is definitely known for being experimental through their albums and ever since the cover of the new album dropped you could definitely tell that they were going 80’s with their new era.
“Rocket” is everything 80’s. The synth-driven mid-tempo pop song delivers a polished and catchy tune that will get stuck in your heads. It will make you want to get out your brightest and shiniest outfits and jump on the dancefloor.
I’m not too familiar with Goldfrapp but the responses of this song are either that fans love it or hate this new direction. I love it and can’t wait for more. Definitely excited to hear the Christina Aguilera collaboration as well.
