Here’s the first view of the new Polaroid cameras that will hopefully be released by the end of the year. The touchup of these are beautiful, with its sleek wood-grain finished and its modern twist. This will be called the Polaroid PIC 1000 and will cost less than 100 dollars. (YES!)
Supported by a strategic relationship with Summit Global Group, a longtime Polaroid partner, and The Impossible Project, the manufacturer of classic film for Polaroid film cameras, Polaroid will offer a completely redesigned, modern version of the Polaroid OneStep camera, the PIC 1000. The PIC 1000 will be available in a range of fun colors and use classic Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film to produce the brand’s classic white border instant pictures. The Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film will work with both classic and new Polaroid cameras and will be offered in packs of 10 pictures. I always bring my Polaroid to every single show that I go to, and people around me look at my funny and sometimes say things like “Those still exist?” to me when I use it. I love my Polaroid and when it hits stores I won’t be the only one with my Polaroid.
