The next (and possibly last!) untitled album by LCD Soundsystem is set to be released on May 17th. No single has been released, and we still have yet to find out the album title and cover art for it.

“Drunk Girls” is the first single, and One Thirty BPM somehow got the track and leaked it out via Youtube, which you can listen to above. It’s a fun, upbeat track with James Murphy chanting ‘Drunk Girls’ in the background every 3 seconds (which is awesome!). Definitely a great song after a long break, but there seems to be something missing. Is it that this track isn’t ‘epic’ enough? It’s not a breakthrough song, that’s all I know.

I thought this would have hit me harder, but I like it. And when songs have that effect on me then I usually end up obsessing over it in the next couple of weeks…

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky.
