Sorry that I’ve been away for a while, it’s a long weekend so I’ve been busy with things. But I’m back with a new band that I have discovered in my inbox.

Bermuda Bonnie is a DIY band formed by Rebecca Huston in her Philadelphia studio, but now resides in Williamsburg. One of my favorite songs from them, “Houseboat”, sounds like an indie, poppy, sort of psychedelic song. Her voice just drifts through the music, making her sound almost angelic.

Their debut self-titled album is available to download for free on their myspace here, but if you like them then you should buy their album and support them!

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky. The theme was created by Val Villar & Dan Matutina, with an Attribution Creative Commons License.
