_M.I.A. – “Born Free” (Music Video)

Here’s the music video to M.I.A.’s new song “Born Free” which you can download a post below this one. I have been warned that this is NSFW because it contains violence and other graphic images so I haven’t watched it yet since I’m at school, but I will whenI get home.

EDIT: Now that I have watched this video, I am stunned! There is so much violence in this that my jaw dropped and I was covering my mouth because of the violence in this video. I don’t get it though.

    I understand that they were trying to show how terrible war violence is and wanted to make it hit close to home with Americans, but the concept gets a little lost in the ridiculousness of it all. It’s sick but I didn’t go out killing people before this anyways, what practical point can this possibly have on me? Does she want me to but hey album now?     I think this video is rediculose! If this was made about a different group of people, lets just say…. Muslims. Then people would go to jail or worse! How is a grouping a ginger any different from grouping a Muslim… But one of them is percieved okay in our society…

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky.
