Scissor Sisters – “Invisible Light”

Scissor Sisters have just announced news for their upcoming third release. The LP is titled ‘Night Work’ and the release date is set for June 28th. To celebrate this news with the fans, they released a new song “Invisible Light” which is available for stream on their website.

This mystical dance song will have you hooked. The infectious song will make you want to crank your volume up just a bit higher. In this track you also will get to hear Jake Shears’ trademark falsetto as well, which may (or may not) drive you crazy (in a good way). I just don’t really like the Thriller-esque narrating about 2/3rds through.

The album cover has got me feeling a bit uncomfortable though. It reminds me of my dance teacher, because her spandex sweatpants always cinch in her ass and it makes everyone feel uncomfortable. (I really really hope she doesn’t read my blog or else next class will be really uncomfortable)
