of Montreal False Priest Album Art of Montreal Coquet Coquette

of Montreal is back with a new album titled ‘False Priest’, which will be released on September 14th via Polyvinyl. The first taste from the album that they’re giving us is called “Coquet Coquette”, which has an R&B and 70’s funk influence to it, as they promised. The guitar riffs are brilliant. Something different you might hear from them is that they’ve changed to using live instruments instead of using computer-generated sounds.

Now, let’s talk about that hideous cover. What is this shit? I usually like of Montreal’s album covers but this looks like a hot Ed Hardy mess.
