No research can be found if this is an official single yet, but either way Peter Bjorn and John are teasing us with a sample of their 6th album Gimme Some, released on March 28th on Cooking Vinyl. The title is “Breaker Breaker“, a loud and over-hyper-ed minute-and-a-half track that with a beat that can be referenced to stems of Vampire Weekend’s signature suit. The inspiration for this song came from the rage that John had for a specific journalist that he wasn’t too fond of (don’t be dicks, journalists!). Check out this line: “Before you break my heart… I’m gonna break your nose and sing about it.”

Also released along with the free track (available here or below) is a quick stop-motion video that matches the pace of the song.

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky. The theme was created by Val Villar & Dan Matutina, with an Attribution Creative Commons License.
