Martin Solveig is best at delivering constant radio hits, the most recent one being “Hello”, his collaboration with Dragonette’s Martina Sorbara that blew up on the radio last year and is still surviving the Canadian Billboard charts. He’s out with a new song titled “The Night Out”, a dance track that’s bound to follow up the success of “Hello”. His new album ‘Smash’ is actually out in just under 2 weeks.

_YACHT – “Utopia”

“Utopia” is another song off of YACHT’s record Shanri-La via DFA Records, bound to be released later this month (6/21). The song carries the similar YACHT quirky and funky vibe that they are known for.

_Shadows on Stars – “Now You’re Mine”

If you’re in the mood for some bright indie pop, then Shadows on Stars is for you. I have never heard of them until Confusion from P&P posted about the mysterious duo, but I’m loving their debut song, “Now You’re Mine“. The track is a vibrant, fuzzy pop song with distorted vocals, with frequent comparisons to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If anything, they sound more “Pains of Being Pure at Heart” to me.

_Beirut – “East Harlem”

Beirut is back with a new track titled “East Harlem“, a beautifully melodic signature Zach Condon track. It’s technically not a new track, but an official recording of it. The band has been playing this live for a while, and Condon even said that he thinks he wrote it when he was 17. Don’t you think it’s a bit strange that the cover of the dogs are set in the snow when summer is shining upon us? (LOL @ the middle dog)

_Jamie xx – “Far Nearer”, “Beat For”

Back in February-ish Jamie xx debuted 2 solo tracks on the radio, titled “Far Nearer” and “Beat For”. Apparently the two tracks were just short glimpses of what to expect, because the full versions are 6-7 minutes long. Changes in the proper release are not really evident, other than just an extended version of what we’ve heard before. The crisp and clear sound is amazing compared the shit quality I’ve been listening to. His single EP is now available on Numbers.

Earlier last month we showed you 1, 2, 3, the Pittsburgh duo band out with the quirky single “Work”. Now they’re out with a brand new video to the tune, and it’s pretty great.

_Adele – “Rolling in the Deep” (Citizen Remix)

The amount of Adele remixes that are being produced lately due to her success are a bit overwhelming and even annoying. It seems like there is a new one being released every couple of weeks, with each of them being equally satisfying, if not better. This is the 3rd “Rolling in the Deep” remix I’ve posted. It seems like Citizen played around with vocal cuts in this remix, thrivingly creating a brand new melody and song of its own.

In the music video for Kid Cudi‘s next single from Man on the Moon II, “Marijuana”, Cudi pays tribute to the lonely stoner he used to be before he officially stated that he quit the herb. The video, filmed & directed by friend Shia Labeouf was shot in Amsterdam. This isn’t the only collaboration between the two, as they are going to release a short film also directed by Labeouf later this year.
