_The Naked and Famous – “The Sun” (Music Video)

The Naked And Famous – The Sun from The Naked And Famous on Vimeo.

The Naked and Famous have released a colorful video for their newest single, “The Sun”. The NSFW video for the song taken from their album ‘Passive Me, Agressive You‘ is full of glitter, squares, and nude couples making out. It is truly a work of art, which has already been taken down from Youtube but can be viewed on Vimeo above.

_Alex Winston – “Velvet Elvis” (RAC Remix)

This is my first time listening to Alex Winston (actually I made myself listen to the original before this remix) and I’m loving her so far. Remix Artist Collective mixed “Velvet Elvis” into a sweet, more poppy tune, a track that definitely needs more hype. Listen to the original on her Soundcloud account here.

_Feist – “How Come You Never Go There”

feist Feist How Come You Never Go There

After a 4 year wait since her mainstream success from her last release, ‘The Reminder’, Feist is back with a new single titled “How Come You Never Go There”. Although I must admit I expected a more ‘pop-py’ track, this jazzy, soulful, mystical track is definitely a grower. Just 3 plays in and I am deeply into it. Perhaps it’s not the best choice for such an anticipated single, but Feist fans will sure eat it up. ‘Metals‘ is out on October 4th.

_Jay-Z & Kanye West – “Otis” (Music Video)

I’m lovin’ the Jay-Z and Kanye West collaboration for ‘Watch The Throne‘. The result of the two most influential people in the hip hop world joining forces and making an album together is fantastic and full of power. Their music video for “Otis” was directed by Spike Jonze, and features the two of them having fun and driving around a huge set with hot babes in the back. And somehow Aziz Ansari is in the video. It’s also weird seeing how happy Kanye looks, you almost never get to see him smile.

_Marina and the Diamonds – “Fear and Loathing”

It’s been a while since we’ve heard of new music from Marina and the Diamonds, who just released her debut album early last year. Since then she’s been on tour with Katy Perry and recording her sophomore album, which will be titled Electra Heart.

On Monday, Marina uploaded a brand new video to a song titled “Fear and Loathing”. Instead of her usual upbeat tracks, “Fear and Loathing” is a raw, powerful track that exposes a side of her we haven’t seen, a vulnerable nakedness. She undergoes a makeover, cutting her hair into a medium-length bob and leaving the pieces of it on her shoulders. All I want to do is brush it off. Maybe she will in part 2 of the song, which comes out next Monday.

_Flight Facilities – “Foreign Language” (feat. Jess)

The first and last original track that we got from Flight Facilities was “Crave You” featuring Giselle almost 2 years ago, and is still being craved this summer. A new track, titled “Foreign Language” features another anonymous girl named Jess Higgs was just released yesterday and carries the similar feel-good, disco house vibe that they are starting to get known for. Check the video out after the jump.
