_Rihanna – Bubble Pop

Supposedly “Bubble Pop” is a leak off Rihanna’s up coming album ‘R-Rated’.  Though some people are suggesting it might be a rejected track from Good Girl Gone Bad.  If you ask me it sounds more like a track destined for A Girl Like Me.

Produced by Will.i.am it really has a Pussycat Dolls Beep feel to it, all it’s missing is a rap break down at the end.

I guess we’ll have to wait until December when R-Rated comes out to know for sure.  But regardless of where it came from, its new Rihanna.

In other Rihanna-related news, she released the music video to “Wait Your Turn” yesterday, a black and white thugged out video. I think she’s trying to become more and more like Jay Z, which is a terrible thing because she sounds horrible. Watch:

_Dirty Projectors – Emblem of the World

In case you haven’t heard Dirty Projectors have recently released an EP entitled Temecula Sunrise, don’t take it personally if you didn’t know about it, those jerks at Domino Records are only releasing it in the UK.

Our friends overseas have been treated to Temecula Sunrise and Cannibal Resource from Bitte Orca as well as two previously unreleased tracks, Melody and this song right here, “Emblem of the world“.

The B-side, Emblem of the World is what can be expected from the six piece Brooklyn experimental rock band.  Harmonious vocals over loosely structured instrumental melodics.  Its not making any top 40 lists but its decent buffer material to fill in the gaps until Bitte Orca’s follow up.
