Another track off of SebastiAn’s upcoming album ‘Total’ has been released. Featuring Mayer Hawthorne, this one titled “Love In Motion” is even more funkier than his latest single, “Embody”. Some parts of the song definitely remind me of Justice’s “Civilization”. Check it out:

Just as you were getting into “LIve Those Days Tonight”, Friendly Fires decides to release 2 new cuts “Hawaiian Air” and “Blue Cassette” from their sophomore LP ‘Pala’.

If “Live Those Days Tonight”, a tribal glistening dance track is perfect for under-the-star parties, then “Hawaiian Air” is best suited for a fresh, vibrant morning or a walk on the beach. “Blue Cassette” has a chorus melody reminiscent of “Skeleton Boy”, a favorite of mine from their self-titled debut.

Honestly, I’m still waiting for more of a minimal track to be delivered from them. Everything released so far is great, but it’s nice to have a breather from their strong and blaring tracks being released from their new album, which is out on May 24th (my birthday!)

Friendly Fires – “Blue Cassette” by vinylandvodka

Still delaying the release of her debut release ‘Go! Pop! Bang‘, Rye Rye releases a second single called “Never Will Be Mine” sampling Robyn’s 2005 single “Be Mine”. Sounds like Rye Rye is trying to head towards the direction of Nicki Minaj for mainstream success. Honestly, her first single “Sunshine” could have been a great radio song if released under a different label than N.E.E.T. which is probably why she is switching to Interscope records. Let’s see how “Never Will Be Mine” will chart.

1, 2, 3 is a duo band hailing from Pittsburgh that are getting hype for their jerky, raspy sound. “Work” sounds all kinds of wonky in the right ways. Frontman Nic Synder describes the song as an ode to the lifstyle that he and his friend (whom is in jail) had as working-class men painting houses. Their full debut New Heaven is being released next month.

1,2,3 – Work by Pretty Much Amazing

I’ve never heard of EMA other than mentions on blogs, but I haven’t bothered to check her out at all. Californian EMA (Erika M. Anderson) is releasing her album next week, Past Life Martyred Saints. Check out this new cut “Milkman“, which is heavy and loud noise pop track.

Calvin Harris is an electro-dance and gym-workout music genius. His next single, “Bounce” features Kelis, and was not expected at all since there is no word of an EP or LP release anytime soon. Even though you can hear the distinct Calvin Harris style, I feel like we are missing the ‘meat’ from the song. This track just feels so…mainstream? I completely bashed his last album, Ready For The Weekend, but since then it grew on me. Maybe this track will do the same.

Florrie recently has been on my radar as one of my favorite English singers out there. Here’s her first official video, which is filmed to her newest single, “Begging Me“. I just have to say that she has the best skin ever. The styling of the video is pretty sleek as well, she kinda looks like a Gap model. Which is not a bad thing.

I stumbled across this gem the other day and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov and Vidis have collaborated with Ernesto for a track called “Changed“, which is a great minimal, nu-disco electronic track. The video is even more interesting; it features bald men who value hair (hair volleyballs, hair bookmarks, hair ice-cream, hair everything) who seem to be trying to cut off the luscious locks of a dainty girl. A bunch of remixes of this track are going to be released soon, which I will definitely share if I like them. Watch & download below:

Mario & Vidis feat. Ernesto – Changed (Radio Edit) by future classic

Just as soon as I post a remix of “Pumped Up Kicks” by Foster the People last week, Myndset came along and revamped the whole song, making it a dance club hit. See, I’m starting to develop a big weakness for house-y electronic music. Is it because I now have a fake ID and I’m starting to go out too much? Maybe.

This jam (along with the original) is probably going to be my pre-summer jam. Pre-summer as in summer needs to come right now. My tweet just explains my love for Myndset. He is genius. Check out another great rework of Drake’s “Fancy” here if you haven’t already.
