_Florrie – “Begging Me” (Music Video)

Florrie recently has been on my radar as one of my favorite English singers out there. Here’s her first official video, which is filmed to her newest single, “Begging Me“. I just have to say that she has the best skin ever. The styling of the video is pretty sleek as well, she kinda looks like a Gap model. Which is not a bad thing.

_Mario & Vidis – “Changed” (feat. Ernesto)

Mario+Basanov++Vidis+Vidis++Mario+Basanov Mario & Vidis Changed (feat. Ernesto)

I stumbled across this gem the other day and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov and Vidis have collaborated with Ernesto for a track called “Changed“, which is a great minimal, nu-disco electronic track. The video is even more interesting; it features bald men who value hair (hair volleyballs, hair bookmarks, hair ice-cream, hair everything) who seem to be trying to cut off the luscious locks of a dainty girl. A bunch of remixes of this track are going to be released soon, which I will definitely share if I like them. Watch & download below:

_Lykke Li – “Silence Is A Blessing” (Music Video)

Lykke Li – Sadness is a Blessing (Director Tarik Saleh) from Lykke Li on Vimeo.

Lykke Li has released a new music video to “Silence Is A Blessing“, one of my favorite tracks on Wounded Rhymes. The clip starts out with her getting incredibly wasted at some high class fancy dinner, with the other guests awkwardly staring at her. She then proceeds to start dancing in the room, with her date (or father?) attempting to stop her. I’m infatuated by her beauty that is shown in all her videos.

_TV On The Radio – “Will Do” (Music Video)

Here is the robotic, trippy video to TV On The Radio’sWill Do“. I didn’t really understand what the video was about until I was reading some of the Youtube comments. One viewer obvserved the conceptual meaning of the video:

“Being high is like having a robotic outfit that makes everything look and feel better. That’s why the video’s so trippy and why there’s smoke every scene they put the outfit on.”

_of Montreal – “Black Lion Massacre”

I love shock art. Something is very interesting about art that is meant to grab your attention, and that’s what of Montreal has just done with their new song “Black Lion Massacre”, taken from their upcoming EP The Controller Sphere.

“Black Lion Massacre” is shocking simply because it is unlike anything they have ever done. It seems as though they might be heading into a more avant-garde and experimental direction with this EP (it seems as though the person in the video is schizophrenic). The instrumental, mysterious track will leave you either wondering if your speakers have blasted or thinking “what the fuck?” (or both of the two). Either way, I think that most people will either love or hate this. I will wait until another song comes out before I judge this project.

_The Strokes – “Under Cover of Darkness” (Music Video)

The Strokes look quite happy in their joyful comeback music video to “Under Cover of Darkness”. The song has such a catchy beat, I’ve loved it even more than when it was released. I’m confused to why there are drowning people in the first 2 seconds of the video.

_Lady Gaga – “Born This Way” (Music Video)

Lady Gaga: Born This Way, Directed by Nick Knight, SHOWstudio.com from SHOWstudio on Vimeo.

Lady Gaga has came out with the music video to “Born This Way“. It’s directed by fashion photographer Nick Knight, a favorite of mine. A year after Alexander McQueen has passed away, she still keeps true to his aesthetic with elements from his SS10 show that are dominant throughout the video (graphics & print, horn makeup, shoes). I’ll keep my opinions to myself as I know they’re really, really biased. Enjoy!
