_Washed Out – Flower Anthem

Washed Out stopped by Daytrotter for a live session and ended up collaborating with artist Karina Eibatova for ‘Flower Anthem‘, a beautiful video piece to three of Washed Out’s songs – “Amor Fati”, “Feel It All Around” and “You’ll See It”. Curious to know how she fit all those flowers in her mouth.

_The Blow – “Ask Me” (Demo)

Usually artists are not keen on demos being leaked, as it, in a way, deteriorates the element of surprise and opinion to the track. However, for The Blow, this is not the case. They (Khaela Maricic and Melissa Dyne) released a video of Khaela putting her heels on and awkwardly posing while listening to herself. The track is not as catchy as any of the tracks from her previous release, ‘Paper Television’ which included YACHT’s Jona Bechtoldt, but there’s still room for growth.

_Lykke Li Performs “Possibility” Live

Lykke Li performed “Possibility” live recently, and to celebrate her birthday her team recorded her in a beautiful black and white video and released it today. “Possibility” is a track that she recorded specially for the Twilight New Moon soundtrack.

_Children’s Choir Covers Phoenix’s “Lisztomania”

The choir that sang with Passion Pit’s lead singer Nate have charmed us all once again by singing Phoenix’s “Lisztomania”. This elementary choir are stars, and I love that the music teacher is so driven with hope in these kids. These kids are blessed and are talented, and I hope every single child knows that.

_Vampire Weekend Plays A House Party

I meant to post this when it came out but I kept on forgetting. Anyways, apparently some guy found the members of Vampire Weekend in a bar in Barcelona and eventually convinced them to play a house party, and they did! Missing was Rostam, I wonder where he was.

_Hole – Skinny Little Bitch

“Skinny Little Bitch” is a comeback single from Hole, Courtney Love’s band. This is the first single in 10 years that they have released, and the first from ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ which will be released on April 26th. It was also released for free on Hole’s website a couple days ago.

I just want to say that I fucking love Courtney Love. She’s the ultimate rock star, and she’s not afraid to do anything. “Skinny Little Bitch” is a fun ‘fuck you’ kind of song, and you can tell Courtney’s definitely having fun. I loooooooooove this.

iamamiwhoami strikes back again with another video that is titled ’23.5.12.3.15.13.5-8.15.13.5.3383‘, which means ‘W.E.L.C.O.M.E-H.O.M.E.3383′ if you use the number-letter conversion.

This one is basically a sequel to the previous one, and it shows us this girl in her cabin. I find the part where she is just sitting there with strawberries around her head staring into the camera so creepy, but I love it! I’m sure we will find out who she is pretty soon.

_Jonathan Waiter + See Like Me No. 4

My friend Trey Taylor from See Like Me teamed up with Jonathan Waiter, a photographer in New York City and together they made a short video clip, shooting twins Aida and Ieva. I thought this video was rad which is why I brought it up.
