_Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ Video Blows Us Away

I usually schedule my posts for the next day, but this is too good to wait. Some of you have seen it already, but for those who haven’t: you should.

_Major Lazer – Halo (Beyonce Cover)

On Sunday night Beyonce broke a record of winning 6 awards during the Grammys, and performed a medley of her own. One of the awards won was Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her single, “Halo”.

Diplo and Switch from Major Lazer covered “Halo” and released it the day after the Grammy’s to celebrate this win. They mixed the song with raps all over the song, giving it a Jamaican feel.

I’d love to hear a remix of both songs like what some DJ did with jj’s “Ecstacy” and Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop”!

Another note, why does that Jamaican (?) guy always have that gun? It’s creepy..

WOW.

Beyonce and Lady Gaga did a collaboration to “Video Phone”, and the result of the music video is what you would think would imagine: a diva hot mess. The video leans more towards a Beyonce type of video than Lady Gaga would, with bright bubblegum pop colors and tight, ghetto clothes. Guess Beyonce can’t really pull off that Gaga look that well. It’s tight, though.

_The Only Things That We Cared About On The 2009 VMA’s

Aah, the VMA’s. The night where most of us (half of which are Britney fans) tune in to watch our favorite celebrities perform on stage and pray for one of them to win a certain award. And most importantly, to watch the to-be-talked about and contrevorsial appearances on the show. And to laugh at the hideous outfits *cough*Jennifer Lopez*cough*. And to hope that Britney will show up (like in the past 3 years)

The 2009 MTV VMA’s started off this year with the one and only pop legend Madonna giving a very touching 7 minute speech about Michael Jackson, revisiting her memories and sharing them with us that she and Michael had and shared.
